Character Name:  Tag
Race:  Human (37)
Gender:  Male
Place of Origin:  Japan
Can Be Found:  Rhy'Din
Profession:  Contract Work, Renovation
Appearance:  He wasn't shy, he was reserved. A man that didn't throw words around hastily, but baited them with a patience, as though he knew that each conveyed a meaning and when he spoke, he meant that he should be clear. High cheekbones, short black hair and a slight, permanent coloring to his skin-- he's half Japanese. Dark eyes considered quietly his company and how the world went. There were lines, just at his lips, just at his eyes, that spoke of countless hours that he labored in the sun squinting. There is a faded, old red ribbon tied to his wrist. It is... some kind of a reminder.
Skills:  How many hours, how many weeks and years had he been a bodyguard? Since his infancy? Since he was old enough to understand? He was the silence, the wait, the stillness that described so many scars on him. There had even been a couple years where he ran an orphanage until all eight kids got adopted out. He survived an inordinate amount and still smiled faintly, still held the door politely. He was a dependable shadow that listened without a flicker of judgment but a distantly, barely detected appreciation that someone had shared.

One should be wary of a burlap skeleton with a red ribbon reminder. He would have given anything for his gunslinger, only that it hadn't been enough. The wedding bands of an abandoned marriage hung around his neck like a weight he couldn't shake. The Dark Man now believed that even the moon could die.

Yet every morning the sun rose.

He saw his daughter's artwork develop. Along his forearm was a wound she stitched up, jagged and beautiful, a moment bookmarked in his skin and heart. He saw his son take his first steps. The Dark Man now knew that every month the moon would widen and wink into nothing. He also knew, always, that the sun would rise.

Some lights would blink away and others would always rise.
