It seems for the night, the den of gossip has come to the Red Dragon Inn!
Hunky (because Marc Franco demands the best) waiters in well-tailored black suits complimented with pink ties make the rounds around the Inn with trays of hors d'oeuvres, including salmon tarts, fontina and prosciutto gougeres, crisp wanton cups with spicy avocado and crab, curried beef wrapped up in a puff pastry. Another set troll the Inn with several drinks with names curtesy of Ehz! There's the Pinkoodle Fluff which consists of iced pink lemonade with a light rum in a hurricane glass and the Farfenpooter which combines vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice black currant juice, and a dash of sour mix into a chilled martini glass.
Also laid out for those with a bit more of an appetite is a spread of chicken with dates and raisins, koftas with apricot sauce, little spiced meat pies redolent of cinnamon and mace, falafel (of course), and Egyptian style baklava with sugar and rosewater syrup instead of the Greek-style honey and cinnamon accompany the usual assortment of canapes.
Decorations remain understated. Short fat vases of pink gerbera daisies grace the tables. And it wouldn't be a Marc Franco party without a flair towards encouraging delicious gossip! The booths are a haven for romantics with a multitude of candles, a pair of wine glasses sitting beside a bottle of wine already on ice within a bucket, and platters of chocolate covered fruit upon each.
As for the rumored entertainment of the evening? There have been quite a few mentions as to the hints dropped in the video but the Gossip GangSTAR camp is uncharacteristically quiet on the subject. When asked, Marc Franco has only smiled slyly and advised even his dearest friends that while he cannot say what will happen it will be the event of a lifetime.... at least for two people.
