Transportation

Transportation for the wedding of Rhiannon Brock and Eregor will be provided between Rhydin and Hatten Point via small cruise ships. There will be various points along the waterfront, including the private docks of those citizens that are agreeable, to ferry guests. Transportation services and lodgings are being provided free of charge to guests by the Hatten Point Resorts' Management.

On the evening of 26 July 2013, transportation will be available for those in the wedding party, their family members and/or chosen plus one guest, and all guests invited to the ceremony that wish to stay at the resort overnight. Overnight guests will be offered the choice of horse drawn carriage rides or limousine services from the docks to the resort. Due to the Hydra Tournament being in progress, transportation will be available in the early evening as well as after dueling ends in the Annex in the wee hours on 27 July. For those needing Saturday transportation for the ceremony, it will be available until 4:30 pm on the waterfront.

Some guests have been offered the option of horse drawn carriages for the ride to ceremony. However, the carriages will primarily be used for the bride, groom, and their attendants.

Water transportation for reception guests will be available beginning at 7 PM and departing on the half hour until midnight. Reception guests will be transported from the docks via their choice of limousine or horse drawn carriage. Return transportation will be available as needed. Lodging and resort amenities, including Sunday's meals and limited spa services, will be available for all guests after the reception, courtesy of the bride's family and Hatten Point's management. Guests will be advised that check out time has been arranged for 6 pm on Sunday.

Anyone that knows the couple is welcome to attend the reception.

Ceremony Setting

The bridges across the stream in front of the Arboretum's Atrium have been decorated with sprays of roses, lilacs, and baby's breath and tied with lilac and lavender ribbons. At the end of the driveway, guests will be directed through a rose covered archway to one of the small garden areas. Chairs have been set out in rows on either side of a center aisle. Row ends are marked with flowers created with white pearl strands and translucent lilac ribbons. The first two rows on either side are reserved and are marked with the ribbons and dark purple roses. At the far end of the aisle is a second archway covered in white and purple lilacs. This is where vows will be exchanged.

While the guests are being seated, music will be provided by the piano, guitar, and vocal ensemble of Rick Brock and Rachael MacLeod, the younger. Doran Ilnaren will be the flute soloist for the processional.

Instead of rice, bubbles will available for after the ceremony.

Reception Setting

The reception is being held within the Atrium at the Hatton Point Arboretum. Fields of bright flowers line the driveway up to the building, while bridges cross the stream that runs in front of it to other sections of the resort complex.

The glass-domed hall, 3 stories high, is decorated with trees to the left and right, dominated by one large tree in the center with branches almost touching the dome high above. This tree is circled by a bar where tenders await orders for drinks of just about any kind imaginable.

The front of the hall is taken up by a dance floor, with a DJ booth against the wall to the right; the gift table is along the opposite wall. There are tables and chairs on all sides of the center bar, with the main table for the bride, groom, and their respective parties set up against the back wall. Buffet tables can be found to left and right, kept well-stocked by Nicole’s staff working the kitchens beyond the atrium.

Strings of paper lanterns and hanging flower baskets criss-cross above the scene, cutting through the space between trees and railings to lend a particularly festive air. Vases of fairy roses are placed as the centerpieces of each guest table. For those seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle, stairwells in the front and back corners of the atrium lead up to the second level walkways, where entrances to the four arboretum halls can be found.

Champagne Flutes

The bride and groom will be drinking from these hand-crafted champagne glasses from Shining Star Glassworks, a gift from the best man.
