Given some recent events and upcoming events I thought it was a good idea to make this thread. Since there are more than just two people involved with The Stitch at this point, I wanted to use this thread for people to communicate what's going on. No, I don't want people posting here every day with a synopsis or anything, cuz, yeah. ;D If things are going normally, there's no need to post, since... things are normal. But let's say... for example...
If Carley comes in with her arm in a cast. Or something changes. I can post it here so people can play off it accordingly. I can say "Carley came in today with a cast on her arm, if anyone asks, she'll tell them to mind their own business."
Or when Glenn comes to work on the shelves in the old flower shop, the player can post about that and what days he's working there, so people know, since that's out of the ordinary. Or when people come to help work on The Stitch expansion in general, someone can post about that. Then maybe people can see and "Oh, hey, my character was there too." and maybe hash out some details of what happens, so not everything has to get played out or written into a thread.
I just feel this helps to save a lot of time, effort, and lets us keep up with the communication.
Glenn will be working on building two new shelves and two step-stools for the addition to the Stitch from Monday, November 5 until Friday, November 16. He will be out of the Stitch early on November 8, being interviewed by Erin for a possible article for the Oracle. The Stitch will close from November 9th to November 16th so it can be.. expanded upon. The wall separating the old flower shop from The Stitch (upstairs too) will be torn down and rebuilt. Painting will commence. The floors will be changed. And.. well.. a whole lot of work will be done.
I'll talk to parties involved to determine if the work done will be vapored, played out, written out, or whatnot.
Anyhoo, yay! I know Rena'll be there too. Sorry to not start a Fixer Upper thread for this too but I'm already behind and I don't want to put myself more behind you know?
Erin ran out for a quick lunch today at 11:45 and was back by 12:05 she was grumpy for like 15 minutes and then wasn't anymore. She didn't get her coffee! _________________

Haha, I'm not sure we need to be that specific? I know Grem stopped by at some point, Lydia was a little less talkative and woo than usual, and Carley was most definitely less talkative and woo. See, usually she'd be all for the violence and smashing the wall, but she totally hid in the basement talking to cockroaches instead*.

Glenn showed up to work a little late today (Monday, November 12), at about noon or so. He also showed up with a new haircut; shorter all around as a general rule, just barely covering his ears, and without all the hair shagging in his eyes. He's also not gonna be real talkative over the next week or so.

With no talking, smashing and destroying should go quickly.
Rena arrived early, not having spent the best of nights. Before the break of dawn she's up and walking, stopping by the Inn for whatever a Denver omelet is. Once finished, she moves to the Stitch around 7:30 or so with the second pie she purchased last night. Seeing no-one else is talking, she takes her frustrations out on the walls and is thoroughly enjoying herself.
She’d heard about this party of annihilation, expansion and rejuvenation! Piper was arriving late but armed with refreshments. She found a safe spot for the big crockery of lemonade and the overflowing bowl of almond cookies to be placed then turned to find a spot of her own to attack, mindful of the ominously quiet concentration of the others. _________________
November 19th, Stitch is open for business again. And expanded, and business is good, and the girls are working hard and super excited and happy. Etc. I suppose? Mine are.
There'll be a mini mess for Stitch employees to come back to on Monday. :3 A makeshift bed on the floor of the main room, a couple empty mugs on the counter, a ring on the glass part of counter from someone being careless.. hrm. Probably an abandoned article of clothing or two. I know in the basement Carley probably left like, her vest or something, and upstairs she's probably left behind a mitten or scarf or some such. Can't forget candy wrappers either, nope.
Oh, I forgot, but somewhere in that mess, on the counter near the cash register, Glenn's black knitted cap is sitting there. Sebastian stopped in today with Emma and less money than one would think. He asked for Carley to assist him in buying two knit shawls and two bracelets. He was sure to be conscious of how much he was spending and maybe even seemed to hesitate when paying.
If approached by other employees, he'd make small talk, be cordial, and update folks on his moving progress. Emma slept the whole time and didn't make a peep.
